posts.studio ("we," "us," or "our") is a social media management platform operated by McBix Consultants. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our application at posts.studio.

2.1 Information you provide

Google account email address and name (when you sign in with Google)
Brand names, descriptions, and voice guidelines you create in the app
Post content, captions, and media assets you upload
Schedule preferences and campaign information

2.2 Information from third-party platforms

When you connect social media accounts through OAuth, we receive:

LinkedIn: Your LinkedIn member profile information (name, profile URL), access tokens for posting on your behalf, and basic account identifiers. We request the openid, profile, and w_member_social scopes.
Facebook: Page information, page access tokens, and the ability to create posts on Pages you manage. We request pages management and publishing scopes.
Instagram: Professional account information linked to your Facebook Page and the ability to publish content. We request Instagram content publishing scopes.

We do not access your private messages, friend lists, personal timelines, or any data beyond what is necessary for publishing content on your behalf.

2.3 Automatically collected information

Session tokens for authentication
Basic analytics about post performance (impressions, engagements, clicks) when you manually enter or sync this data

3. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and manage your session
To publish content to your connected social media accounts on your behalf
To schedule and manage your content calendar
To display analytics and performance data you have provided
To maintain and improve the application

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information or content to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored using Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure. Access tokens for connected platforms are encrypted at rest. We use HTTPS for all data in transit.

Access to the application is restricted to authorized users within the configured Google Workspace domain. We implement session-based authentication with secure, HTTP-only cookies.

5. Data Sharing

We share your information only in these limited circumstances:

With social media platforms: When you publish content, we send your post content and media to the platforms you have connected (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
With infrastructure providers: Firebase (Google Cloud) hosts our application and stores data on our behalf, subject to Google Cloud's privacy and security commitments.
As required by law: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. OAuth access tokens are stored for the duration of their validity and refreshed as needed. You can disconnect a platform at any time, which removes the stored tokens for that connection.

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Disconnect any connected social media platform at any time
Export your data using the built-in export feature
Revoke our access to your social media accounts through the respective platform's settings
